Sennheiser HDB 630 Specifications, Features

The Sennheiser HDB 630 uses a 42mm electrodynamic transducer and is tuned for a neutral sound profile with detailed mids and controlled bass. The company says the updated acoustic design reduces distortion and improves clarity through an optimised magnet mesh, redesigned back volume, and transparent baffle mesh.

For connectivity, the headphones support Bluetooth 5.2, a 1.2m analogue cable (3.5mm), and a USB-C to USB-C cable. They offer a frequency response of 6Hz–40kHz, depending on the input, and come with adaptive noise cancellation along with transparency mode.

The HDB 630 supports 24-bit/96kHz high-resolution audio over USB-C, analogue, or Bluetooth when used with the included BTD 700 dongle. Wireless codec support includes aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX, AAC, and SBC.

Using the Sennheiser Smart Control Plus app, users get access to a parametric equaliser with granular controls such as frequency, bandwidth, and filter type. A built-in crossfeed feature aims to make older or wide-panned recordings sound more natural.

Battery life is rated at up to 60 hours, and a quick 10-minute charge can deliver around seven hours of playback. The headphones weigh 311g and use a lightweight frame with leatherette earpads. The earpads are also replaceable, which can help extend long-term usability.
