Samsung India is back with the third edition of ‘Walk-a-thon India’ challenge. The month-long challenge will run from August 1 to August 30 to promote the spirit of health and fitness in the country. During the challenge, participating users will be eligible to win a Galaxy Watch8 or assured discount coupons worth up to Rs 15,000. Here’s everything you need to know about the Walk-a-thon India. Users in India with a Samsung smartphone can participate in the ‘Walk-a-thon India’ challenge. The participants must complete 2,00,000 steps within the 30-day period. Participants will be able to monitor their progress and compare performance with other users through a real-time leaderboard within the Samsung Health app. Three lucky winners will get the Galaxy Watch8 as a completion reward. Samsung Galaxy Watch8 comes in two sizes – 40mm and 44mm – featuring Super AMOLED displays with up to 3000 nits of peak brightness. Internally, the Galaxy Watch8 is powered by an Exynos W1000 chip. The Galaxy Watch8 features an 8.6mm thin profile. It comes with Samsung’s Bioactive sensor for continuous health tracking. Plus, the Galaxy Watch8 is the first smartwatch to get an Antioxidant Index, enabling users to measure carotenoid levels in just five seconds.
The Galaxy Watch8 is also the first smartwatch to come with Google’s AI assistant, Gemini, out of the box.
