Honor has introduced its flagship tablets – the Honor MagicPad 3 Pro (13.3) and the Honor MagicPad 3 (12.5) – in the Chinese market. The recently launched MagicPad series focuses on premium performance, large displays, and AI features. The MagicPad 3 Pro has a 13.3-inch 3.2K (3,200 x 2,136 pixels) LCD panel with a refresh rate of 165Hz and peak brightness of 1,100 nits. It runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, coupled with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The tablet ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, and includes Honor’s YOYO AI features for intelligent multitasking and system optimisation. The tablet has a massive 12,450mAh battery with 80W charging support (comes with a 66W charger in the box). Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, OTG, and USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2. Both the Honor Smart Touch Keyboard and the Magic Pencil 3 stylus are compatible with the tablet. The Honor MagicPad 3 Pro has a thickness of 5.79mm and weighs 595 grams.
The base model, the MagicPad 3 (12.5), has a 12.5-inch 3K (3,048 x 2,032 pixels) LCD panel that has a refresh rate of 165Hz and peak brightness of 1,000 nits, and it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage.
It runs MagicOS 9 based on Android 15, with a planned upgrade to MagicOS 10 (Android 16). The tablet has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, along with eight speakers, three microphones, and 10,100mAh battery supporting 66W fast charging.
In China, the MagicPad 3 Pro starts at CNY 3,999 (approx. Rs 49,300) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, available in Floating Gold, Moon Shadow White, Starry Sky Gray shades.
The MagicPad 3 (12.5), on the other hand, starts at CNY 2,699 (approx. Rs 33,300) and is available in Good Luck Purple, Moon Shadow White, Green Pine, and Starry Sky Gray finishes.
