Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 launched with an Exynos chipset and Android 14

Samsung has updated the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with a fresh 2024 version. The all-new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 has the same design as the preceding model but has some new internals. Samsung has packed a new budget-range octa-core chipset and has given the Android 14 flavour. The tablet still comes with an S Pen support for annotating or drawing on the tablet. It packs a big battery with a standard charging speed. Let’s take a look at the full details.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 specifications

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 features a 10.4-inch display with a 2000 x 1200 pixels resolution. The TFT screen has a 60Hz refresh rate. It has a 5MP camera on the front for clicking selfies and doing video calls. Samsung has also given an 8MP camera for better images, if in case you plan to use it. The device is capable of shooting 1080p video from both the front and rear cameras.

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a processor that has four cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and four cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. It is the Exynos 1280 octa-core chipset. The tablet has two RAM and storage variants – 4GB RAM and 64GB  storage and 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It has a microSD card slot for additional storage up to 1TB.

As for the battery, it packs a 7,040mAh cell with 15W charging support. It has a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack for connecting wired headphones or other accessories. The tablet has stereo speakers with AKG and Dolby Atmos support.

The tablet has the following connectivity options – 4G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth v5.3.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 price and availability

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 will be available for purchase from today in the global market. It has three colour options –  Oxford Gray, Chiffon Pink, and Mint. The price details are yet to be known. But once we get more information we will update.

As for the India launch, Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything yet. However, since it’s now hitting stores globally, we might see it in India. Currently, Samsung sells the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 edition in India. The tablet starts at Rs 28,999 for the Wi-Fi version and Rs 30,999 for the 4G version.
