
Samsung has recently dropped a new trailer for the an upcoming phone on the official YouTube channel of South Korea. Leaks and rumours suggest that the upcoming device is going to be Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. The 11 second teaser shows a chauffer carrying and invite to room. The receiver pulls out the invite, which looks like a fold phone with a date which is October 24, 2024.
Now, Samsung has not confirmed whether the upcoming device will be the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold SE or if it will be an entirely different phone. Readers are suggested to take the information with a grain of salt until there is an official confirmation from Samsung related to the same. Previously, a series of leaked images showed a device which looked like a thinner version of Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold SE will most probably ship with a thinner design. It will be around 4.9mm thick while being folded and around 10.6mm thick when unfolded. As for the design, we will get to see an identical titanium frame as other Galaxy high-end devices. Further, the device could also carry IP48 certification for protection from dust and water.
Rumours have it that the smartphone will run on the Samsung OneUI 6.1.1 based on the Android 14 operating system. Samsung will ship the device with seven Android OS updates. Moreover, we can also get to see a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor powering the device. It might also feature a 200MP primary sensor at the back. All other information regarding the handset is still under wraps. We can expect to know everything about the same in the upcoming Samsung event.
