Xiaomi is all set to bring a new Champagne Gold colour option to its Redmi Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+ smartphones in India. This new variant is set to go on sale from July 1, adding a little more variety to the current colour options — Spectre Blue, Titan Black, and the leather-textured Phantom Purple of the Redmi 14 Pro series.
Now before you get too excited, know that this is a cosmetic update only. The new colour doesn’t come with any internal upgrades or changes in specs. Here is what these models offers.
In terms of features, nothing’s changing with this new colour. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ still packs the same specifications and features. It packs the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and features a curved 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3000 nits of peak brightness.
For photography, the camera setup has a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 2.5x zoom. Inside, it has a 6200mAh silicon-carbon battery, which supports 90W fast charging, and the phone is also dust and water-resistant with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings.
The regular Redmi Note 14 Pro keeps things similar on the display front, but it’s powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chip instead. It uses a graphite-based cooling system to manage heat and offers a 50MP main camera (Sony’s LYT-600 sensor), along with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro lens. Battery life should also hold up well with a 5500mAh unit, which supports 45W fast charging.
The new Champagne Gold version will be available starting July 1. You’ll be able to grab it on Amazon India or at any of Xiaomi’s official retail stores. Pricing is expected to stay the same as the other colours, but availability might vary depending on which storage variant you’re after.
