Redmi 13 5G India launch: Xiaomi hosted a special event in India today wherein it launched the Redmi 13 5G smartphone. The Redmi 13 5G joins the company’s Redmi 13 series smartphones as the top variant. The Redmi 13 series also includes the Redmi 13C 5G and the Redmi 13C. Redmi 13 5G India price and availability

The Redmi 13 5G comes in two storage variants. The base variant comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage variant and it costs Rs 13,999. The top variant of the phone gets 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space and it costs Rs 15,999. Xiaomi is offering a discount of Rs 1,000 on the purchase of the phone. The Redmi 13 5G will be available for purchase starting 12PM on July 12 via mi.com, Amazon India official website and Xiaomi Retail stores across the country.

Coming to the specifications, the Redmi 13 5G comes with a 6.79-inch FHD+ LCD display with a screen refresh rate of 120Hz, a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a peak brightness of 550 nits, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The Redmi 13 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE processor that is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. It is backed by a 5030mAh battery with 33W of fast charging support. It ships with Android 14-based HyperOS skin.

On the camera front, the phone has a 13MP camera in the front, and a 108MP lens with Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor + 2MP macro sensor at the back. The primary camera offers 3x in-sensor zoom. For connectivity, the Redmi 13 5G has 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 5. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
