
Realme GT 6 India launch: Realme hosted a global launch event today wherein the company launched its flagship Realme GT 6 smartphone. Simultaneously, the company also launched the Realme GT 6 in India. This new smartphone is a part of the Realme GT series and its launch follows the launch of the Realme GT 6T that was launched in India earlier this month at a starting price of Rs 30,999.
Before the Realme GT 6 becomes available to the buyers, take a look at its detailed specifications and India pricing.
The Realme GT 6 comes in three variants in India. The 8+256GB variant costs Rs 40,999, the 12+256GB variant costs Rs 42,999 and the 16+512GB variant costs Rs 44,999.
Realme is offering a discount of Rs 4,000 on ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and SBI card purchases and an exchange bonus of Rs 1,000 on the purchase of this phone. After discounts, the 8GB variant will be available for Rs 40,999, while the 12GB and 16GB variants will be available for Rs 42,999 and Rs 44,999 respectively.
As far as availability is concerned, the Realme GT 6 will be up for pre-orders from June 20 to June 24. The phone will go on first sale starting 12PM on June 25 on Flipkart and Realme.com.
Coming to the design, the Realme GT 6 comes with a glass back with dual-tone texture. It has a shiny metal mirror texture near the camera module and mist titanium metal diffuse reflection texture at under it. It comes in Razor Green and Fluid Silver colour variants.
Talking about the specifications, the Realme GT 6 sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels, a dynamic screen refresh rate of up to 120Hz, up to 6,000 nits of peak brightness and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
The Realme GT 6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset that is coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage space. It runs Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0. Realme has promised to provide three years of Android updates and four years of security updates.
In terms of the camera, the Realme GT 6 sports a triple camera setup at the back. This camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor with the Sony LYT-808 sensor and OIS (optical image stabalisation) support, a 50MP telephoto lens with Samsung JN5 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with Sony IMX355 sensor. On the front, it has a 32MP camera. For videos, it supports up to 4K videos at 30FPS with Dolby Vision support. The Realme GT 6 also features a host of AI camera features, which include AI Smart Removal for manually removing objects from an image and AI Smart Loop that can n identify the content selected and dragged by the user on the screen.
Coming to the battery, the Realme GT 6 is backed by a 5,500mAh battery with support for 120W SuperVOOC charger, which ships inside the box. ON the connectivity front, this phone has NFC with a dedicated on-device security chip, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4 and dual-band GPS.
