Realme has unveiled the all-new Realme C65 smartphone in the entry-level segment. The smartphone features a rather unusual design when compared to existing Realme phones. For this one, Realme is switching from its now standard circular camera island to a simpler vertical positioning of the cameras. That aside, it is just another Realme budget phone with a high refresh rate screen, a MediaTek chipset, and, for a change, faster 45W fast charging support. The Realme C65 features a 6.67-inch punch-hole display with an HD+ resolution. It is an LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 625 nits. Realme has also added features like the Dynamic button and Mini Capsule 2.0 on the phone. The device also supports Air Gestures similar to the Realme Narzo 70 Pro. The punch-hole on the screen holds an 8MP camera on the front for selfies. It has a triple system on the back with a 50MP main lens. It has an aperture of f/1.8. The other two sensors are auxiliary lenses. The phone can shoot 1080p videos from the rear and front camera. MediaTek Helio G85 powers the device. As is evident by the chipset, it is a 4G smartphone and does not support a 5G SIM. The device has a Mali G52 GPU for handling the games and graphical tasks on the phone.
It has 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. Both the RAM and the storage are expandable. Realme has offered up to 8GB of virtual RAM feature. The storage can be increased via the microSD card slot.
As far as the battery is concerned, it houses a 5,000mAh cell with 45W SuperVOOC fast charging support similar to the recently launched Realme 12x 5G. It has a USB Type-C for fast charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connecting wired headphones. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security.
The smartphone has a slew of connectivity options such as dual-SIM 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, and GNSS suite with GPS. It has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. It runs on Android 14 OS and has Realme UI 5.0 on top.
The Realme C65 is currently only available in Vietnam and is priced starting at VND 36,90,000, which roughly translates to Rs 12,400. It has two colour options – Purple Nebula and Black Milky Way.
Unfortunately, there’s no information if it will launch in India. We’ll have to wait to know about about its India availability.
