OnePlus Ace 6 Debuts In China Alongside OnePlus 15: Will It Launch In India As OnePlus 15R

Alongside the OnePlus 15, the tech giant has officially unveiled the OnePlus Ace 6 in China. It comes as the successor to the Ace 5 and, if history repeats, could soon make its way to India as the OnePlus 15R. The Ace 6 follows the same clean, premium design language as the OnePlus 15, featuring a metal frame and that familiar squared camera housing. Despite being the “non-flagship” sibling, it packs quite a few powerful specs under the hood. Under the hood, the OnePlus Ace 6 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the same processor that powered last year’s OnePlus 13. Moreover, OnePlus has also added a Wind Chip Gaming Core in China, which is said to improve frame stability and responsiveness during long gaming sessions. Moreover, the display supports up to 165Hz refresh rate on a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel – so scrolling and gameplay should feel smooth and snappy. For photography, the OnePlus Ace 6 features a camera setup – a 50MP Sony main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16MP front camera. The phone is also rated IP66, IP68, and IP69K for dust and water resistance. 

The OnePlus Ace 6 packs a massive 7,800mAh battery with a 120W fast charging, which claims to get a 50% in just about 15-16 minutes. It also gets an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and a customizable “Plus key” that can trigger actions like camera, flashlight, or translation.

OnePlus Ace 6 Price And Expected India Launch

In China, the OnePlus Ace 6 starts at CNY 2,599 (around Rs 32,300) for the 12GB + 256GB model, going up to CNY 3,899 (around Rs 48,400) for the top-end 16GB + 1TB variant. It’s available in Quicksilver, Flash White, and Competitive Black and will go on sale from October 30.

If the pattern follows, the same device could arrive in India soon under the name OnePlus 15R, sitting just below the OnePlus 15 in the lineup. However, its launch date is yet to be revealed, but if OnePlus keeps the India launch tradition alive, then it may arrive along with the OnePlus 15.
