With the OnePlus 15 finally making its way to India, a lot of users are curious about how it compares to the previous flagship, the OnePlus 13. While we still need to put the OnePlus 15 to the test, here we have quickly compared the duo on the basis of specifications, features and price. Also Read: From iPhone 17 To Galaxy S25: 6 Phones To Buy Instead Of OnePlus 15
OnePlus has slightly changed its design language this year. The OnePlus 15 brings a circular camera module placed inside a square-shaped island, giving the back a more layered look. The lenses are vertically aligned too. The OnePlus 13, in comparison, sticks to a simpler circular island with a triple camera setup.
The OnePlus 13 features a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 4500 nits peak brightness. The OnePlus 15, meanwhile, slightly reduces the size to a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel but boosts the refresh rate to 165Hz.
This is where the biggest upgrade comes in! The OnePlus 15 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, making it the first phone in India to bring this processor. It also runs on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16, unlocking new AI features and UI improvements. On the other hand, the OnePlus 13 was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and launched with OxygenOS 15, though it has now received the OxygenOS 16 update.
Battery life sees a major jump this time as the OnePlus 15 packs a huge 7,300mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, along with 10W reverse wireless. The OnePlus 13 has a 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging.
Both phones carry a triple 50MP camera setup: main, ultrawide, and telephoto. The difference? The OnePlus 15 upgrades the telephoto lens to 3.5x optical zoom, which is slightly higher than the 3x zoom on the OnePlus 13. The 32MP front camera remains unchanged across both.
In India, the OnePlus 15 starts at Rs 72,999 for the 12GB RAM and the 256GB variant. On the other hand, the OnePlus 13 was launched at Rs 69,999 for the same variant. So the new model comes with a slightly costlier tag than its predecessor.
