Motorola has officially launched a new smartphone in India. The Motorola Moto G64 5G device is a budget smartphone under Rs 20,000. It comes with a large 120Hz display, a 50MP dual-rear camera system, and a new MediaTek chipset. One of its notable highlights is the massive 6,000mAh battery and fast charging support. Moto G64 5G India price, offers, and colours

The Motorola Moto G64 5G starts at Rs 14,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant and Rs 16,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB variant. Buyers can get up to Rs 1,100 instant discount on HDFC Bank CC and DC EMI transactions. With the bank offers, the device can be purchased for under Rs 13,999. The first sale of the phone is set for April 23 on Flipkart and leading retail stores.

Moto G64 5G specifications and features

The Moto G64 5G boasts the standard Motorola design. One look from far away and still you’d be able to tell it’s a Motorola device. It sports a 6.5-inch punch-hole display with an FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It has thin bezels in three sizes, but there’s a noticeable chin at the bottom. The screen has a 240Hz touch sampling rate and Gorilla Glass protection. It weighs 192 grams and has an 8.89mm thickness.

A MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset powers the phone. Motorola claims that this is the world’s first phone with this chipset. The octa-core chipset is paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. It has a microSD card slot for additional storage of up to 1TB.

Regarding the optics, it flaunts a dual camera system on the rear with the lenses placed vertically. The setup is led by a 50MP main lens and an 8MP  lens for ultra-wide and macro shots. The main lens has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. Upfront, it has a 16MP camera for clicking selfies. Motorola has offered several camera features on the phone such as Portrait, Burts Shot, Raw Photo, HDR, Timelapse, Slow Motion, and others.

As far as the battery is concerned, it is equipped with a mammoth 6,000mAh battery with faster 33W charging support. It runs on Android 14 OS out of the box. The device has a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom for connecting wired headphones. There’s also a USB Type-C port that enables fast charging.
