Moto G04s launched with 90Hz screen and big battery for Rs 6,999

Motorola has launched the all-new Moto G04s in India. As the name suggests, it’s an entry-level smartphone for the masses, however, has a solid specs sheet for the price. Some of its highlights include a 90Hz display, 50MP cameras, and a larger battery. The device runs on the latest Android 14 OS and is powered by an octa-core chipset. Motorola Moto G04s is priced at Rs 6,999 and has a lone 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. It comes in four colours options, namely, Concord Black, Satin Blue, Sea Green, and Sunrise Orange. The device will be available for purchase on Flipkart in its first sale scheduled for June 5.

The Moto G04s competes with the likes of Redmi 13C, Infinix Smart 8, Tecno Pop 8, Samsung Galaxy A05, and others.

The G04s looks exactly like other Motorola phones in the under Rs 10,000 price range. It has a polycarbonate back and an LCD panel on the front. It sports a 6.6-inch punch-hole screen with an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate support. The panel has a modern aspect ratio but has a noticeable chin on the bottom. For screen protection, it has Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The device boasts a 5MP front camera placed in the punch-hole. There’s a 50MP single camera on the back. The rear camera is capable of recording 1080p video. It also has support for HDR. The single lens is assisted by an LED flash unit just below the camera sensor.

Powering the device is a Unisoc T606 chipset. It’s an octa-core chipset based on a 12nm node. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone houses a big 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. It has a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack for connecting wired headphones.
