iQOO is all set to launch its next flagship, the iQOO 15, with China expected to see the debut in October. According to recent leaks, India could get the device in November or December. The phone will succeed the iQOO 13 and comes with high-end features, including the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a 2K Samsung “Everest” display. Live images of the phone surfaced online via tipster Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata), showing a clean, white design. The back sports a left-aligned “squircle” camera module, while the front features a flat display with slim, uniform bezels and a centre hole-punch for the selfie camera. In terms of cameras, the iQOO 15 is expected to feature a triple 50MP setup – including a telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. The phone is also expected to include an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, and USB 3.2 Type-C connectivity.
The iQOO 15 is said to feature a 6.85-inch 2K 8T LTPO Samsung “Everest” Display with 144Hz refresh rate and up to 6,000 nits peak local brightness. The device will likely pack a 7,000mAh battery that supports 100W fast wired charging, along with wireless charging. Under the hood, the iQOO 15 is also said to pack a 8000mm² VC cooling system for thermal management.
iQOO has confirmed that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with a new Q3 gaming chip. In India, the iQOO 15 will go up against other upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 flagships like the Realme GT 8 Pro, Xiaomi 17, and OnePlus 15.
While the exact price and India launch timeline are still under wraps, the leaks indicate that the iQOO 15 will be positioned as a feature-packed flagship aimed at gamers and performance enthusiasts.
