iPhone 17 Series Tipped To Get Price Hike, Except THIS Model

We are expecting a bunch of upgrades and changes to the iPhone 17 lineup in September 2025. The improvements and upgrades are also hinting towards a price hike. iPhone 17 Series Price Hike

Based on the prediction by the analyst Lee, the iPhone 17 lineup is expected to witness $50 price hike, roughly Rs 4381, from its predecessor. However, the price hike is tipped for the entire lineup except the standard iPhone 17. It is said to be due to rising costs of components and tariffs related to China.

If the leak turns out to be true, the new iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to replace the Plus model, may start at $949, against the starting price of the iPhone 16 Plus at $899. The iPhone 17 is tipped to remain the same as the iPhone 16 at $799. 

On the other hand, the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to be priced at $1,049, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max may cost $1,249. It must be noted that the predecessors iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max, were launched at $999 and $1,199, respectively.

iPhone 17 Series: What All Can We Expect

Starting with the standard iPhone 17 model, it is expected to remain the same in terms of design as the iPhone 16. However, one of the most notable upgrades that leaks and rumours are suggesting is the 120Hz refresh rate, which has been limited to the 60Hz so far. Similar is the case with the new memeber of the series — the iPhone 17 Air. Apart from the display, the iPhone 17 Air is tipped to settle with a single camera setup at the back, while the front may get a 24MP selfie camera for the first time. Leaks suggest that the entire lineup of the iPhone 17 may witness this pixel boost in the front camera against the current 12MP.

Talking about the iPhone 17 Pro and the Pro Max, the design is expected to get a new look with a wider camera island while keeping the triple camera setup arrangement the same. Better chipset, improvement in battery performance are some other expected upgrades.

Will these upgrades translate into the expected price hike? To know, we will have to wait until September 2025 for the official launch.
