Instagram started as a photo-sharing app, but over the past few years, it has shifted its focus to short-form videos, also called Reels. Millions of users in India and elsewhere post Reels on various topics. While the ability to share Reels directly with contacts is most preferred, it works only for Instagram users. For a long time, there was no way to share videos with people who do not use Instagram. However, Instagram has added an option to allow video downloads, making sending Reels outside of Instagram easier.
