For the unversed, Netflix first introduced games on its platform back in November 2021. At the time, the streaming giant offered five games to the interested players. Over the years, the company has added more titles to its collection, which now stands at 50. It is worth noting that the option to play games is available only on Netflix’s Android and iOS-based app. This means that you cannot play Netflix’s games when accessing the platform on your PC or on your TV.

Netflix games: Requirements

To play games on Netflix, users need an active Netflix subscription. In addition to that, they need an Android phone or tablet running Android 8.0 or newer Android version or and iPhone or iPad running iOS or iPadOS 15 or newer version.

How to play games on Netflix

On Android

Step 1: Launch the Netflix app on your Android phone or tablet.

Step 2: From the home screen in the app, swipe down to find the Mobile Games row, or tap the Games tab.

Step 3: Tap on the game and tap Get Game. This will open the Play Store.

Step 4: Tap the Install option. You may be asked to tap the Accept button depending on the device that you are using.

Step 5: When the game has downloaded and installed, tap the Open option to open the game.

After a game is installed, users can open it from the Mobile Games row or Games tab in the Netflix app. Users can also tap its icon on their device’s home screen or in the app drawer.

On iPhone or iPad

Step 1: Launch the Netflix app on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2: From the home screen in the app, swipe down to find the Mobile Games row, or tap the Games tab.

Step 3: Now, tap on the game.

Step 4: Then tap Get Game or Play Game option.

Step 5: Next, tap Get or the Cloud icon on the App Store banner.

Step 6: Once the game has been downloaded and installed, tap the Open option.

Once the game has been installed, users can open it from the Mobile Games row in the Netflix app, or by tapping its icon on your device’s home screen.
