  • Google PIN: This is a four-digit code that you create and use only for GPay. It is different from your UPI PIN or the PIN that you use to unlock your phone. You need to be connected to the internet to use Google PIN.
  • Screen lock: This is the same pattern, PIN, fingerprint, or password that you use to lock your phone. You don’t need to be connected to the internet to use screen lock.

When do I need to use app lock?

You need to use app lock every time you open the GPay app unless you have unlocked your device within the last 30 seconds.
