Xbox Prime

CES 2025 is going to be a big event for gaming enthusiasts. We already got to see Acer gaming handheld devices in the event. And now, a new rumor has excited all the Xbox fans. It has been revealed through leaks that the next-gen console by Microsoft, Xbox Prime, will be pretty soon making a debut in the global market.

According to an X user named TheGhostofHope, a prominent Call of Duty tipster, Microsoft’s Next console will be dubbed Xbox Prime and it can launch as early as 2026. However, he has shared the statement with caution by saying that the readers are suggested to take the information with a huge grain of salt.

Xbox Prime details that you should know

Furthermore, the Call of Duty game in 2026 will be a day one release for the Xbox Prime. As of now, it has not been confirmed that Xbox Prime is going to be the marketing name of the console or it is just a codename. If the rumor holds any truth then we can get to see an official announcement from Microsoft’s side by the end of this year or maybe earlier than that.

Apart from that release timeline and the possible name, it will be a bliss to see the next Call of Duty game getting a day one release on the next-gen console. And the same will be competing with the PS5 Pro that is the latest console from Sony’s arsenal with unmatchable performance prowess running on WiFi 7.

It will be too early to claim anything related to the Xbox Prime. Nonetheless, one thing that we already know is that Microsoft will leave no stone unturned to make the console a beast in terms of performance so that it can be future-ready to compete with the next generation of PlayStation consoles – Yes, here we are referring to the PS6 or the PlayStation 6 that we can get to see in a couple of years maybe.
