Tesla Cybercab details that you should know

The Cybercab has the capacity to accommodate two people at once and is free from any pedals or steering. As for the design, it looks like a vehicle from a science fiction movie teleported on earth. It has two doors that open in an upwards direction in a motion similar to butterfly.

Elon Musk also stated that autonomous vehicles can offer around 10 to 20 items more safety as compared to traditional vehicles. And the best part is that the autonomous vehicles are cheaper than the traditional ones as well. According to the estimations shared by Tesla chief, the car would cost somewhere around $0.20 per mile in operation.

Musk said, ‘The autonomous future is here. We have 50 fully autonomous cars tonight. You will get to see the Cybercab and Model Ys. All driverless.’ According to The Verge, Musk also said that the cybercab will save a lot of time that people spend in driving a car and this time could be used to doing work, watching movies, or even reading a book.

The main reason behind the launch of Cybercab is that Musk is also working on a ride app similar to Uber. On the app, users will be able to deploy their Cybercab and will be supposed to give around 25-30% commission to Tesla.
