Call of Duty Black Ops 6 arrives next month

Activision has confirmed that the next Call of Duty game is the Black Ops 6. The company revealed the same in a blog post on the official Call of Duty website. The game is confirmed to launch sometime later, however, it will be revealed next month. news Also Read: Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Beta Goes Live, But Cheaters Are Already Spoiling The Fun

Xbox Game Showcase is set for June 9 (Sunday), and following that, the COD Black Ops 6 will be fully revealed.

Initially, the company dropped a teaser of the game on the new website, which was first spotted by CharlieIntel, a popular X account that shares Call of Duty news. The account shared a newly created Call of Duty website with the URL – thetruthlies.com. The same was then shared by the official handle of Call of Duty on X. The website gives a cryptic look at the upcoming game.

The website has an old-school TV with six channels that you can switch with the buttons. This hints that this could be the upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops 6 game. Out of the six channels, only the first two channels display two different teasers. That said, we might see some more details of the game on other channels as we move closer towards its full reveal.

The teaser showcases several people climbing the Mount Rushmore and vandalising it. Another teaser also reveals a news channel reporting about the same incident. This theme aligns with the Black Ops series. Interestingly, players can also download the teaser by tapping the record (REC) button, which is a cool way to share a teaser trailer.

Now, Call of Duty’s official handle hasn’t revealed more details about the game. However, we should learn more at the Xbox Game Showcase event, which is not too far away. Several fans might be confused about the numbering of the game. The last Black Ops number-series game was Black Ops 4, and then came the Black Ops Cold War. So the upcoming title will be called Black Ops 6.
