Motorola has slashed the price of last year’s Edge 40 Neo days after announcing the new Edge 50 series. The new price is now showing on the company’s website, as well as the exclusive shopping platform, Flipkart. Motorola has not said if it is a permanent price cut or a temporary one or how long this offer will last. However, customers waiting to buy a sleek phone with a near-stock Android interface can consider the Edge 40 Neo now that it is cheaper.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo price

After the price cut of Rs 1,000, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo will be available for Rs 22,999 onwards. The launch price of the base variant with 8GB of RAM was Rs 23,999, while the higher model with 12GB of RAM arrived at Rs 25,999. The latter is now selling for Rs 24,999 after the price cut on Flipkart. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo comes in four colours: Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, Peach Fuzz, and Soothing Sea.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo boasts an impressive 6.55-inch pOLED endless edge display with a 144Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of 1300 nits and support for HDR10+, you can enjoy your favourite shows on Netflix and Prime Video in their full glory. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7030 processor, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS2.2 storage. It runs on the Android 13 operating system with Motorola’s customisations.

The phone features a dual camera setup at the back, including a 50MP primary lens with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, OIS (optical image stabilisation) and more. The second camera is a 13MP ultrawide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies, you can use the 32MP camera with f/2.4 aperture. Additionally, the Edge 40 Neo packs a 5000mAh battery and 68W fast charger, providing up to 36 hours of battery life. The smartphone also supports Dolby Atmos, 5G, Bluetooth v5.3, NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, and location services including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and more. With an IP68 rating for water protection, the phone is 7.79mm thick and weighs up to 172g.
