Tata Curvv petrol and diesel engine modes have finally made it to the Indian market. The base petrol variant of the car is available in the market at a price of Rs 9.99 lakhs, and the base diesel variant is priced at Rs 11,49 lakhs. One thing to note here is that the mentioned prices are introductory ones and they will be increased in November 2024. As stated by Tata, the car will have Curvv ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) in eight variants and six colors.
Starting with the design, the Tata Curvv ICE has a design similar to that of the Tata Curvv EV. The only visible difference is the front grille and the air vents. The vehicle brings the coupe SUV look back. It includes a 4-spoke steering wheel and a strip of ambient lighting along with the dashboard’s length. The cabin of Tata Curvv petrol also sports a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Not only this, but the prodigy from Tata also gets a 9-speaker JBL audio system, auto climate control, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and an air purifier. For safety purposes, the car gets features like six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, and an electronic parking brake. Buyers will get three engine options for Tata Curvv – one diesel engine and two turbo petrol engines.
The 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine makes 118bhp and 170Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the latest 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine will make 123bhp and 225Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine will make 113bhp and 260Nm of peak torque. All the engines will be clubbed either with the 6-speed manual gear or the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gear. The car will be competing with Citroen Basalt, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, etc.
