The feature is pretty similar to account-sharing options that we get to see on social media applications like Snapchat and Instagram. As for the QR codes, YouTube has tried its best to provide a unique look to the QR codes by adding the logo of the channel in the middle. And you can spot the YouTube logo right below the channel logo in the QR code. Once shared, these QR codes can be scanned via Google Lens or QR code scanner applications. If a user scans the QR, they will be directly taken to the channel page linked with the QR code. How to share a YouTube channel with a QR code?

  • Open the YouTube application on your smartphone.
  • Now, tap on the You button available at the bottom navigation bar.
  • Under your channel name, you will see a Share channel button.
  • As soon as you’ll tap on it, you will see the QR code option below Quick Share.\
  • Tap ‘save to camera roll, to save the QR code on your device.
