This comes at a time when smart wearable demand is on the rise. The e-commerce giant says that during the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2025, premium wearables recorded close to 40% growth, while smart glasses alone saw a 4.6X jump in customer searches year-on-year. “People want devices that bring AI into everyday moments,” Zeba Khan, Director, Consumer Electronics at Amazon India. The good part about these glasses is that they just look like a pair of usual Ray-Bans; however, they come with a set of interesting smart features. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 chipset with 32GB storage, the glasses have a 12MP camera tucked into the frame along with an LED indicator that lights up whenever a video is being recorded. How will you access these? All your recordings will be sent directly to Facebook, Instagram, or shared through the Meta View app to other platforms. It also has a built-in Meta AI assistant, which can be simply activated by saying “Hey Meta AI” to wake it up. Once activated, you can click photos, start recordings, set reminders, and get answers. Meta claims that on a single charge, the glasses last up to 4 hours, and the case adds 32 additional hours. They also come with IPX4 splash resistance, which means they can handle a bit of sweat or light rain without trouble.

The Ray-Ban Meta Glasses start at Rs 29,900 for the Skyler and Wayfarer frames in the Shiny Black finish. But thanks to launch offers and bank discounts, the effective price drops to Rs 23,920.
