Several telecom operators are racing to launch their 5G services in India as the country’s 5G landscape continues to evolve at a breakneck speed. In this regard, Vodafone-Idea is the latest telecom operator to join the fray by revealing the launch timeline of its 5G services in India. The telecom giant has recently made an essential announcement regarding the launch of its 5G services with several cities already confirmed to be part of the initial rollout. Vodafone-Idea’s 5G launch will play a significant role in 5G connectivity with its promise to deliver faster speed, lower latency, and great connectivity.

Here’s What We Know So Far:

Vodafone-Idea recently announced that it would be rolling out its 5G services in Mumbai in March 2025. The telecom operator mentioned the names of the cities that would be receiving company’s first 5G roll out. The list of cities are:

• Delhi
• Mumbai
• Bangalore
• Chandigarh
• Patna

Other cities will receive in the later months of the 2025. Additionally, the company also mentioned how users can get the 5G connectivity and what are the places that will be supporting the upcoming network. You can go to Pune (Shivaji Nagar, Maharashtra), India Gate/Pragati Maidan in Delhi, Perungudi and Nesapakkam areas in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and Kot Kalan area in Jalandhar, Punjab.

Vodafone-Idea also announced that the company plans to launch the 5G services that are affordable and users can recharge it without breaking their bank. The entry-level plans from the company might be 15% less cheaper as compared to what other telecom operators are offering. The company in its blog post mentioned that users can have the freedom to customize unlimited plans based on their needs. Also, you will be able to enjoy Vi movies and TV, Cloud Games, Entertainment (OTT), and some other benefits under 5G plans of Vodafone-Idea.
