JioHotstar subscription is free with this new prepaid plan

Reliance Jio has now introduced a new prepaid plan in the Indian market that offers complementary access to JioHotstar as well. The latest OTT platform was launched by the company last week and it came after the merger of Jio with Disney+ Hotstar. The company wasted no time in announcing the monthly and yearly subscriptions for the platform. And now, they have announced a dedicated prepaid plan for the same too.

The Rs 949 prepaid plan is the one that brings the JioHostar ad-supported subscription for the customers for 90 days straight. In the plan, the users will get to see an 84-day validity, 100 SMS per day, unlimited voice calling, 2GB data per day, along with unlimited 5G data as well. And JioHotstar is not the only benefit bundled with the plan as it will also bring access to other apps like JioTV and JioCloud.

As claimed by Reliance Jio, the Jiohotstar app consists of around 300,000 hours of content keeping aside all the live coverage of the sporting events that we will get to see on the platform. The content on the platform will be available in ten Indian languages over a wide range of content categories and genres. The best part here is that all the existing Disney+ Hotstar and JioCinema subscribers have been moved the JioHotstar without any additional costs. And these users will have access until their plan expires.

As for those who want to directly purchase the plan, the Mobile plan for three months is available at a price of Rs 49. The Supe plan that includes ads but works on multiple devices is available for Rs 79 for a month time period. And the ad-free plan can be purchased for Rs 299 for three months.
