OnePlus Open will launch on October 19 in the Indian market. Its launch will be streamed live on the company's official YouTube Channel.
OnePlus Open will be the brand's first foldable smartphone. It is said to be a rebadged version of the Find N3, which will be exclusive to China. The design of the phone was teased by OnePlus and was also leaked online.
OnePlus Open is expected to come with a 7.8-inch main display featuring a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It may have a 6.3-inch cover screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
One of the highlights of the OnePlus Open is said to be its cameras. It may come with a 48MP main lens, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP telephoto sensor. It is expected to have 3x optical zoom support.
OnePlus Open will likely come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It may have up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
OnePlus is expected to fit in a 4,800mAh battery inside the OnePlus Open. It is rumored to come with 100W fast charging support. This may make the OnePlus Open one of the fastest-charging foldable phones.
The OnePlus Open may arrive with the latest Android 14 OS out of the box with OxygenOS on top. If that happens, it will be the first foldable phone to come with Android 14 out of the box in the global market. The device may also get long-term updates.
Since it will be a foldable phone, don't expect it to be affordable by any means. The OnePlus Open is expected to be priced around the same price range or slightly lower than the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
