This time, Nothing takes a difference approach with the Phone 4a Pro model. It comes with a metal unibody design, flat surfaces, and a slim 7.95mm thickness. On the other hand, the Phone (4a) continues with the transparent look.
This is where the visual difference becomes obvious. The Phone (4a) introduces a Glyph Bar system, while the Phone (4a) Pro gets the more advanced Glyph Matrix, which covers a larger area and offers brighter notification patterns.
Both phones pack triple cameras, but the Pro model focuses more on photography. The Phone (4a) Pro includes a 50MP Sony LYT700C primary camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and ultra-wide support. It can go up to 140x digital zoom. The Phone (4a) also gets a 50MP main camera and telephoto lens, but the zoom maxes out at 70x.
Selfies are slightly better on the Pro variant. The Phone (4a) Pro offers a 32MP front camera, while the Phone (4a) comes with a slightly simpler selfie setup.
The Phone (4a) Pro features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The Phone (4a) gets a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Both screens are bright, but the Pro variant pushes higher numbers. The Phone (4a) Pro reaches 5000 nits peak HDR brightness, while the Phone (4a) goes up to 4500 nits.
Performance is another area where the Pro model pulls ahead. The Phone (4a) Pro runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, while the Phone (4a) uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset with LPDDR4x memory.
Interestingly, both phones stay identical here. The Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro pack a 5400mAh battery with 50W fast charging and run Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16.
The Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro were launched in India on March 5, 2026. The Phone (4a) comes with a starting price of Rs 31,999, while the Phone (4a) Pro begins at Rs 39,999.
