
Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its most powerful Civi smartphone yet. The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro is coming, and the official teasers are out and the hype is real. The brand has now confirmed the device’s imminent arrival, revealing the design, color options, and a few key features. Let’s take a closer look at what we can expect from the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro.
The Civi 5 Pro will arrive in four colour options: Black, Purple, Beige, and White. Xiaomi has also shared official posters showing off the phone’s sleek circular camera module, dual LED flash, and Leica branding. The camera is said to feature a powerful 50MP selfie shooter, which could be a solid pick for content creators and selfie lovers.
Under the hood, the it is expected to be powered by the freshly launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The device has also shown up on Geekbench with 16GB of RAM and will reportedly boot Android 15 out of the box. On the display front, we might get a 1.5K resolution quad-curved screen with a pill-shaped punch-hole cutout. The rear camera system will also include a 50MP telephoto lens with a 60mm focal length for improved portrait shots.

Another big rumoured upgrade is that the Civi 5 Pro might pack a 6,000mAh+ battery which is a serious step up from its predecessor. It also appeared on China’s 3C certification website, hinting at support for 67W fast charging.
While Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed the exact launch date yet, leaks suggest the device will go official on May 22nd in China. There’s no news about the India launch of the device yet, but based on past trends, we can expect it to launch globally later this year as the Xiaomi 15 Civi.
