Thomson today unveiled two new QD Mini LED TVs in India. The smart TVs run on Google TV OS and are available in two size options – 65-inch and 75-inch. Thomson says that these are India’s first TVs with two built-in subwoofers. The TVs feature a frameless design with metallic body. Thomson QD Mini LED TV Specifications, Features

The new Thomson smart TVs feature IPS LCD panel with a quantum dot colour converter layer and a mini LED backlight, offering 540 local dimming zones. The TV comes in 65-inch and 75-inch screen sizes with 4K (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) resolution, 1500 nits peak brightness, a 100000:1 contrast ratio, Dolby Vision support, and render 1.1 billion colours. The panels emit low blue light and support flicker-free tech for comfortable viewing.

For sound, the Thomson QD Mini LED TV is equipped with a 108W audio setup, which includes two built-in subwoofers. The TV also supports Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus. It runs on a MediaTek processor powered by AiPQ chip, offering features like AI Super Resolution, AI Super Clarity, AI Super Contrast, and AI Super Color. The new Thomson TV packs 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

The Thomson Mini LED TVs run on the latest Google TV OS, supporting 10,000+ apps, voice search, and personalized content recommendations. For gamers, the TV boasts features like 120Hz MEMC, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM).

For connectivity, the Thomson QD Mini LED TV features dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, two USB ports, three HDMI ports (ARC + CEC), one RJ-45 Ethernet port, and two A/V ports. The TV comes with a full-size remote control that features dedicated hotkeys for Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube Music.

Thomson QD Mini LED TV Price in India, Availability

Thomson QD Mini LED TV is priced at Rs 61,999 (introductory price) for the 65-inch model. It will go up to Rs 64,999 after the promotional phase. The 75-inch model is priced at Rs 95,999. The new TVs will be sold exclusively through Flipkart, starting July 17 (today).
