The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has issued an advisory outlining crucial dos and don’ts for internet users across the country. The main aim of this initiative is to curb the spread of misinformation, maintain national security, and ensure that people do not become targets of online hackers. The advisory, shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), highlights the need for vigilance against misinformation and urges users to verify information before sharing it.
