OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT is planning to come up with its own browser, as per the report. If this happens then it will directly be a take on Google’s one of the most used products of all time, Chrome. The OpenAI browser would combine with its chatbot and will deliver much-refined answers and results. OpenAI will reportedly integrate its web browser with its chatbot in order to enhance the results. Developing a browser would boost company’s reputation as it is already a dominant company in artificial intelligence after the launch of the ChatGPT. Additionally, OpenAI has also partnered with Hearst, a multinational mass media and business information company in order to form a content management partnership which will publish company’s newspaper and magazines. OpenAI also introduced an upgraded feature in ChatGPT that integrates web search capabilities. The feature will now challenge traditional search engines by offering users direct answers with source citations.

Google tension has arise as the Department of Justice states that the Google operates as the monopoly in search engine and it should end its lucrative and exclusive contract with Apple and other companies that make it the default search engine in the smartphones and tablets.
