OnePlus has expanded its tablet lineup with the launch of a new budget-friendly tablet, the OnePlus Pad Lite. However, it comes in select global markets, including the UK and Europe. This comes a month after the launch of the premium OnePlus Pad 3 in the global markets. The Pad Lite features a compact 11-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 1920×1200 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits brightness. The display also comes with TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and flicker-free viewing. The design is consistent with the OnePlus tablet lineup, sporting a circular rear camera in the centre and the OnePlus logo just below it. What else does it bring to the table? Read on. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G100 chipset, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It runs on OxygenOS 15.0.1, which is based on Android 15, and brings a clean, tablet-friendly experience out of the box. While it’s not a gaming powerhouse, the Helio G100 offers decent performance for everyday tasks and streaming.
The camera setup is modest, with a 5MP sensor on both front and rear. It’s enough for video calls or quick snapshots but not meant for heavy photography. Audio, on the other hand, gets a boost with quad speakers, Hi-Res Audio certification, and support for multiple Bluetooth codecs like aptX HD, LDAC, and more—making it ideal for watching content on the go.
One of the highlights is the 9,340mAh battery, which supports 33W fast charging (SuperVOOC). This should comfortably last through a day or more of regular use. The tablet supports Wi-Fi, LTE (for the higher variant), Bluetooth 5.2, and features a USB Type-C port. It also includes facial recognition for basic security.
Priced at £169 (approx Rs 19,692) for the Wi-Fi-only variant and £199 (Rs 23,188) for the LTE version, the tablet is now up for pre-order. It comes in a single Aero Blue colour and is aimed at users looking for an affordable media and work companion.
What about its India launch? While the OnePlus Pad Lite has not yet launched in India, its predecessor, the Pad Go, did make it to the Indian market. Given the timing and product gap, OnePlus may soon announce its availability here too.
