OnePlus has been on a roll and has been launching several new and capable devices. From the recent OnePlus 13 to the upcoming Nord 5 series, OnePlus is clearly catering to the needs of everyone in the market. Now, it looks like details of the next OnePlus flagship have also been leaked. These leaks clearly hint that the OnePlus 15 could bring in the biggest battery in the flagship segment, along with some notable improvements in the camera department as well.
According to trusted tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 15 will house a battery that’s at least 7,000mAh in size. This clearly shows that OnePlus is adopting silicon-carbon tech to push battery limits above and beyond.
Even the previous OnePlus 13 packed in a 6,000mAh battery, clearly showing OnePlus’s commitment to providing good battery life. But the adoption of silicon-carbon means that OnePlus could make its phones slimmer and lighter as well, making them more comfortable to use without compromising on battery size.
The same leak also reveals that OnePlus might bring a multi-fold periscope camera, which could open up more advanced zoom capabilities. While details are still thin, the sensor is said to be on the smaller side. Hopefully, this isn’t too much of a sacrifice, especially since the OnePlus 13 had a great telephoto performance. Additionally, OnePlus 15 might take things to a new extreme with a new super black colour option.
Along with this, the OnePlus 15 might get the new Plus chip with upgraded performance, as it’s expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. Most likely, it will continue with the same flat-style 6.78-inch display with a 1.5K resolution. On the camera side, OnePlus might drop the Hasselblad branding, as the partnership is coming to an end.
