Nothing’s next flagship is right around the corner, but we’ve just got our best look yet at the upcoming Nothing Phone (3). This new leak has divided the fans as this phone looks really different and has an unusual rear design just like the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro. 

The leak comes courtesy of reliable tipster Max Jambor, giving us a first glimpse of the phone’s radical new design. Here is everything we know about the upcoming Nothing Phone (3). 

Dot Matrix Design 

Nothing previously confirmed, the Phone (3) is ditching its iconic Glyph LED interface. Rather, they are going for a dot matrix display on the back, although that isn’t visible in the leaked image. While we don’t yet know how this new system will work, the big question is whether it can offer the same level of interactivity and visual flair like the Glyph.

The rear of the device is a major shake-up. It still sticks to the brand’s transparent design language, but this time it leans more industrial than futuristic. The triple rear camera setup is arranged in a layered fashion that looks unlike anything we’ve seen from the brand so far.

This design shift is already proving polarising. This new bold change is very similar to the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro’s design language. Nothing is trying to push the boundaries of design by bringing asymmetrical design that stands out.

What Else to Expect

From earlier leaks, it looks like the Nothing Phone (3) could be powered by the flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. On the display side, it’s expected to get a 6.77-inch LTPO AMOLED display and a 50 MP main camera on the rear. There’s also a possibility of Android 16 right out of the box.

Nothing is set to officially unveil the Phone (3) on July 1, at an event that will also feature the debut of the brand’s first over-the-ear headphones.
