Reliance Jio at its Annual General Meeting made several announcements, and one of them was the Jio PhoneCall AI feature. As the name hints, it’s a feature that will help you record, transcribe, and translate your voice calls. Moreover, it will be accessible in various languages, including English. Jio markets it as a part of its “Connected Intelligence” initiative for Jio SIM card users.
At Reliance Jio’s AGM, Jio PhoneCall AI was one of the key highlights. It will gain users access to a slew of features under one roof. Jio PhoneCall AI can record calls and store them in the Jio Cloud. It can transcribe calls by converting voice into text in real time. This is useful for those who want to keep a record of a voice meeting.
Other than these two features, PhoneCall AI can also summarize calls for you. That said, any of your long conversations can be summarized for quick access to the details of what was discussed. Furthermore, PhoneCall AI, with the help of Jio notes, can translate conversations instantly in multiple languages.
Step 1: To use Jio PhoneCall AI, users need to start a call and then add Jio PhoneCall AI (1-800-732673) to the call by merging it.
Step 2: Users can then press #1 to record and transcribe calls. To stop the transcription, users need to press #2. There’s also the ability to resume transcription by pressing #1 again.
Note: PhoneCall AI will periodically announce to the caller that the call is being recorded.
Step 3: To end the AI PhoneCall process and to successfully save the recording and transcription, users need to press #3.
All the recordings, transcriptions, and summaries will be saved on Jio Cloud. As part of the Jio Welcome Offer, Jio will initially provide up to 100GB of cloud storage for free.
