
Google has just started dispatching the Android 15 Beta 4.2 update. The latest beta version will be available for all the Pixel phones enrolled in beta testing. And considering the silence of Google officials on Android 15 in the Made by Google event, we can say that the OS is still not ready for a stable roll out.
Google released the Pixel 9 series in the global market along with the Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2. What came as a little shocker in the event is that the audience was expecting that the latest Pixel series would roll out with Android 15 but it came with the Android 14 OS instead. Though the Pixel 9 series offers 7 years of support for OS and security updates, still that doesn’t justify the absence of Android 15 in the Made by Google Event.
The release of the Google Android 15 Beta 4.2 version was announced by the team working in the background via Reddit. With the Reddit post, we can say that this update is more of a bug smasher than introducing anything new to the operating system. Keeping that in mind, speculations are that Google could pretty soon roll out the stable version of the Android 15 operating system.
