Google has announced in a blog post that the Gemini for Home voice assistant is all set to roll out starting October 28th. However, it comes with some limitations. The good part is that the core update is included with your device without paying anything extra, as the blog post mentioned. Gemini For Home Update: How To Access?

To get early access to Gemini for Home, simply follow these steps:

  • First of all, go to the Google Home app on your mobile and then click on the profile picture or initial of your name in the top right corner.
  • After that, click on the Home Settings.
  • Tap Early Access and that’s it!

However, you will have to wait for the confirmation to be eligible for the early access program.

Once approved, you can simply access by saying, “Hey Google” or “Hey Google, let’s chat” to access Gemini Live. Note, you will need a Google Home Premium subscription to access Gemini Live, which costs $10 per month for the standard version in the US.
