Apple Working on a New ‘Charismatic’ Operating System: Expected to Run Smart Home Hub in 2026 and AI Robot in 2027

Apple is reported to be working on a new operating system, codenamed ‘Charismatic.’ As per recent reports and industry experts, Apple is supposedly working on its long-rumored homeOS, and hence, the company might be planning to launch a new OS for its upcoming smart devices, including a smart home hub that is expected to launch in 2026. Other than this, the company could also be planning to bring a desktop robot that could arrive in 2027.

This would represent one of Apple’s most significant expansions in its software lineup, going beyond iOS, macOS, and watchOS.

Charismatic Operating System

Apple is designing the upcoming Charismatic Operating System, keeping smart home living in mind, trying to begin a stronger foothold in the home ecosystem. The upcoming platform is expected to bring together elements of tvOS and watchOS.

As per reports, Apple could bring a hexagonal app grid layout in this OS, making it one of the most notable design choices. This could be somewhat similar to the interface seen on the Apple Watch.

Reports suggest that Charismatic OS will also introduce multi-user support along with facial recognition. This will not only allow shared devices to personalize layouts, but will also help in bifurcating content depending on who is using them.

The upcoming operating system could heavily rely on Siri as the main control method. However, there could be the option of optional touch-based input.

The Charismatic Operating System is reported to be equipped with pre-installed apps like  Calendar, Music, Reminders, Notes, and Camera.
