Vivo X Fold3 Pro launched in India: Check price, specs, top features

Vivo X Fold3 Pro launch: Vivo today launched its first foldable display smartphone in India. The newly launched smartphone is called Vivo X Fold3 Pro and it comes with Zeiss’ camera technology and a host of artificial intelligence (AI)-based features.  It is worth noting while Vivo X Fold3 Pro is the company’s first foldable phone in India, it’s not the first foldable-display smartphone. Prior to the Fold3 Pro, Vivo has also launched the Vivo X Fold 2 and the Vivo X Fold in select markets around the globe.

The Vivo X Fold3 Pro is up for pre-booking in India right now. Before this newly launched smartphone goes on sale in the country, take a look at its India price, specifications and features.

Vivo X Fold3 Pro India price and availability

The Vivo X Fold3 Pro comes in a single 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant in India, which is priced at Rs 159,999. As a part of the launch offer, Vivo is offering a no-cost-EMI of Rs 6,666 per month for 24 months to the interested buyers. In addition to that, it is offering an instant cashback of up to 10 percent with ICICI Bank, SBI, HDFC Bank, AMEX, and HSBC Bank cards. It is also offering an exchange bonus of up to Rs 10,000 to the buyers.

As far as availability is concerned, interested buyers will be able to purchase the Vivo X Fold3 Pro in Celestial Black colour variant starting June 13 via Flipkart, vivo India e-stores, and all retail partner stores.

Vivo X Fold3 Pro specifications and features

Coming to the specifications and features, Vivo says that the Vivo X Fold3 Pro is the India’s slimmest foldable display smartphone when folded. It is 1.12cm thick when folded and 0.52cm thick when unfolded. It weighs just 236 grams. It features an aluminium alloy chassis a glass fiber glass with ultra-thin-glass in the front and armour glass back, which the company says offers an increase in drop resistance of up to 11 times. Additionally, it comes with IPX8 dust and water resistant coating.

The Vivo X Fold3 Pro features a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover screen with a resolution of 2748 x 1172 pixels, a screen refresh rate of 120Hz and a 4,500 nits of peak brightness. When unfolded, the phone has a 8.03-inch display with a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels, 120Hz screen refresh rate and 4,500 nits of peak brightness.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 system-on-chip that is coupled with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage space. It is backed by a 5,700mAh battery with support for 100W dual-cell flash charge. It also features support for 50W wireless flash charge technology that charges the phone up to 50 percent in just 35 minutes. It runs Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14.

Coming to the camera, the Vivo X Fold3 Pro features a 32MP front facing camera on the cover screen and a 32MP camera on the inner display. It has 50MP camera with optical image stabalisation (OIS) and VCS technology, a 50MP wide-angle sensor with auto focus and a 64MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom at the back. The phone’s telephoto lens is powered by Zeiss, which offers 3x optical zoom, 10x high-definition zoom, and up to 100x digital zoom. This camera setup is aided by the company’s V3 ISP that provides 4K cinematic portrait video. The camera also offers features such as 4K time lapse mode, AI night view, handheld astro and AR planetarium modes.

Lastly for connectivity it has Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, NavIC and USB Type-C.
