Vivo is rumoured to be working on a new smartphone – the S50 Pro Mini – for the Chinese market. The phone is said to succeed the Vivo S30 Pro Mini in the home country and launch as the Vivo X300 FE in the global markets. Ahead of its launch, a tipster has revealed the key specifications of the Vivo S50 Pro Mini/ X300 FE. It could be one of the first phones to run on the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip.Here’s everything leaked about the device so far.

Vivo S50 Pro Mini Specs (Leaked)
Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station posted on Weibo that the rumoured Vivo S50 Pro Mini will be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Previously, reports suggested that the phone could run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC. However, the tipster claims that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 has an advantage as it packs a stronger CPU architecture and is fabricated using TSMC’s N3P process. Vivo S50 Pro Mini is tipped to feature a 6.3-inch flat display. Other reports suggest that the phone will be equipped with an OLED panel, offering a 1.5K resolution. According to DCS, the device will come with a periscope telephoto camera. The tipster suggests a larger capacity battery than the standard Vivo X300, which packs a 6,040mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.
Previous reports suggest the Vivo S50 Pro Mini will feature a 120Hz display, with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. The phone could come equipped with ZEISS-backed triple rear cameras. On the front, the device is said to house a 50MP selfie camera.

There is no word around the existence of the device yet, but the rumoured Vivo S50 Pro Mini could debut as the Vivo X300 FE in global markets. To recall, the Vivo S30 Pro Mini was later rebadged as the Vivo X200 FE globally.
