Samsung’s next big flagship lineup, the Galaxy S26 series, is already creating news way before its actual launch. Fresh leaks hint that Samsung is going all in on display and camera upgrades this time. The new models – especially the Galaxy S26 Ultra – are expected to feature brighter OLED screens, bigger camera sensors, and smarter AI-powered features. The details, shared by a well-known tipster, also suggest that Samsung will fine-tune performance and battery life across all variants. According to tipster Alchimist Leaks, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 6.9-inch Quad-HD OLED display using Samsung’s new M14 panel technology. This new screen is said to bring richer contrast, improved power efficiency, and better outdoor visibility. There’s also talk of an AI-powered privacy mode that dims the screen for anyone looking over your shoulder. Also Read: Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic Review: A "Classic" That’s Living in the Future
The Galaxy S26 and S26+ could sport 6.3-inch and 6.7-inch M14 OLED screens, respectively. Inside, Samsung is likely to continue its split-chip strategy – using the Exynos 2600 in some regions and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in others.
Battery capacities are said to remain close to last year’s lineup, with 4,300mAh for the S26, 4,900mAh for the S26+, and a 5,400mAh unit for the Ultra. As expected, the S Pen will stay exclusive to the Ultra model.
Cameras are shaping up to be a big highlight this year. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is tipped to include a 200MP main sensor, an upgraded ultra-wide camera, a 50MP periscope lens with 5x zoom, and either a 12MP or 50MP telephoto shooter with 3x zoom.
The Galaxy S26 and S26+ are likely to have a triple-camera array, with a 50MP main sensor (which will be slightly larger than before), 50MP ultra-wide, and a 12MP telephoto lens. These adjustments should allow for sharper shots in challenging low-light conditions.
Samsung may be dropping the Edge variant this year, but a slimmer new model is reportedly in the works. It could feature a 6.6-inch Quad-HD OLED screen, the Exynos 2600 processor, and a 4,300mAh battery. The phone might carry three 50MP cameras, following the same sensor setup as the rest of the lineup.
