Samsung Galaxy S24 FE debuts with Exynos 2400 SoC; Here are the details

Samsung has finally announced the Galaxy S24 FE smartphone in the global market. The device packs improved hardware as compared to its predecessor. Leaks already suggested that it will ship with a better processor, larger display, and a few other upgrades. Starting with the design, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE comes with thin bezels and a punch-hole cutout at the front for the placement of the front camera. At the back, we get to see a glass panel with three sensors placed horizontally. Until now, Samsung has not announced the price of the smartphone for the Indian market. However, the ordering window for the same will open on October 3, 2024.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display coupled with 120HZ adaptive refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Exynos 2400 processor based on a 4m manufacturing process. Samsung also boasts that the device will deliver the ultimate gaming experience with advanced features like ray tracing and a vapor chamber. The base variant of the device ships with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also gets two more storage variants including 256GB and 512GB.

In terms of camera, we get to see a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 12MP ultra wide-angle shooter, and an 8MP 3X telephoto shooter with OIS. For capturing selfies and attending video calls, the smartphone gets a 10MP front sensor. One of the main highlights of the device’s sensors is that they use ProVisual Engine that blends ML and AL to produce optimized colors in Super High Dynamic Range (HDR), Nightography, optical quality 2X zoom, along with AI-based editing features like edit suggestions, instant Slow-mo, Portrait Studio, and more.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE houses a 4700mAh battery along with 25W fast charging support. It also includes multiple Galaxy AI features including Circle to Search, Composer, Note Assist, Live Translate, and more. Samsung has claimed that the brand will provide seven years of operating system and security updates for the phone.
