Samsung is set to expand its 5G portfolio in India with two new Galaxy A series smartphones the Galaxy A14 5G and the Galaxy A23 on 18th January. The teaser says, “Being awesome is one thing, but amping up your awesome is a whole new world.” The new smartphones Galaxy A14 5G and Galaxy A23 5G will be priced around Rs 15,000, sources told IANS. Samsung Galaxy A23 5G Specifications:

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G smartphone was introduced in August last year with a 6.6-inch 120Hz Full HD+ display. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor, coupled with Adreno 619L GPU. In terms of optics, the smartphone houses a 50MP primary camera sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. Samsung Galaxy A14 5G Specifications:

The A14 5G features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is expandable via the microSD slot. The South Korean tech giant is planning several 5G smartphones to consolidate its leadership in the country this year. Samsung finished 2022 as the leading 5G smartphone manufacturer in India, backed by its large portfolio of innovative 5G devices.

According to Counterpoint Research, Samsung led the 5G smartphone segment in India for the fourth straight quarter in Q3. Samsung was also the fastest-growing brand in the premium segment. As per the brand, it had the biggest 5G portfolio in the country last year, with more than 20 5G smartphones and tablets selling in the country right now.
