iPhone 16 series launched a few days ago and the tech-enthusiasts are mesmerized with the Camera Control button offered in the devices. Now, like always, we got to hear the rumors that Android smartphone-producing firms have already started working to offer the same functionality and Realme could be the first mover here. In a Weibo video, Realme Vice President Chase Xu teased Realme’s own Camera Control button on an unannounced smartphone. He explained in the video that the users can launch the camera and then use the button to control multiple different things. By the looks of it, the feature doesn’t look as smooth as we saw in the case of iPhones. However, considering the teaser is of a pre-production device sample, there are chances that Realme will work on it to make it seamless. Chase Xu further mentions in the video that Realme is using the same tech that goes behind Apple’s Camera Control button and then he also confirms that the sample phone is not the upcoming Realme GT7 Pro. Speculations are that Realme will release the feature pretty soon in one of the flagship devices on the way. Nonetheless, to know the name of the device, the fans will have to wait more, at least until Realme confirms something officially. The camera control button introduced in the iPhone 16 series is the new center of attraction in the smartphone market. It offers a haptic feedback feature along with different functionalities associated with different tap patterns. For example, a single press of the Camera Control button will trigger the camera app on the iPhone and a second tap will capture the image. Swiping left and right on the button will allow the users to zoom in and zoom out. Furthermore, users can also make adjustments to the depth of field, exposure, and Portrait mode through the Camera Control button.
