Realme has always been in the limelight for introducing groundbreaking technology. And now the brand is at it again with a 320W charging tech that comes with a unique battery design. This is a new record after Oppo’s 240W charging technology. Realme officials announced the 320W fast charge technology that can fuel up a smartphone in just 4 minutes and 30 seconds from zero to 100%.

As claimed by Realme, their new charging tech uses a solar panel-inspired battery, folding cell over the cell to offer a compact setup. The idea behind the same is that the battery cells can be charged simultaneously. This charging tech by Realme has been named SuperSonic Charge. Furthermore, the charger can charge a device up to 26% in just a single minute. The battery is apparently being charged at 20V to minimize the heat as that is one of the most important concerns with a high voltage charging tech.

Realme also introduced Pocket Canon adapter with other tech

Realme introduced the adapter used to test the technology and it was pretty identical to the adapters we’ve seen previously, The charger is being dubbed ‘Pocket Cannon’ and it includes two USB Type C ports for diversified usage. However, it is almost impossible to charge two smartphones at the same time and expect to reach 320W speed for each of them.

The charger will support at least 150W fast charging for smartphones and 65W charging for compatible laptops. Apart from that, Realme also unveiled the AirGap Voltage Transformer that could protect the pgone battery in case of circuit breakdowns. The transformer also comes with electromagnetic conversion that can limit the voltage to 20V.

As per Realme, the company has claimed to achieve thermal efficiency of 98 percent for its 320W SuperSonic Charge technology. As of now, Realme has not announced if any future devices from the brand will ship with support for SuperSonic charging tech. However, chances are that we will soon get to see a flagship device from the brand that supports SuperSonic 320W charging.
