
Poco last week launched the much-awaited Poco X5 Pro mid-range smartphone in India. The device comes with the signature Poco design and an impressive specs sheet.
It is one of the cheapest phones with Snapdragon 778G and an IR blaster. Starting today, the smartphone will go on sale in India via Flipkart. Let’s take a look at the details.
The Poco X5 Pro will go on its first sale today at 12 PM on Flipkart. The device is priced starting at Rs 22,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant and Rs 24,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. However, with offers, the device can be purchased at a lower price.
The smartphone has Rs 2,000 instant discount on ICICI and HDFC Bank Credit and Debit card transactions. With this, the final price comes down to Rs 20,999 and Rs 22,999, respectively.
Flipkart is also offering a No Cost EMI option starting at Rs 3,645 per month. There’s an exchange offer of up to Rs 20,000 on the device.
It comes in three color options including a new shade. It has Astral Black, Poco Yellow, and the new Horizon Blue color.
The Poco X5 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch Xfinity display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full-HD+ resolution. It is an AMOLED panel with 1920 PWM dimming, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ support. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The smartphone features a triple camera system on the back with a 108MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The device is capable of shooting 4K videos at 30fps. It has a 16MP camera on the front.
As for performance, the device houses a Snapdragon 778G chipset paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage. The device has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Coming to the battery, it packs a 5,000mAh cell with support for 67W fast charging. It is said to charge completely in just 45 minutes. Unfortunately, Poco has offered Android 12 OS out of the box, but it does have the latest MIUI 14.
