
Poco last week launched the Poco C50 entry-level smartphone in India. The device comes with several highlights at a price of under Rs 8,000.
Some of the notable highlights of the phone include its design, dual cameras, a big battery, and a physical fingerprint scanner.
The Poco C50 comes at a price of Rs 6,499 for the 2GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. The 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant costs Rs 7,299. Today in the first sale, the phone’s base variant will be available at Rs 6249.
Those with Flipkart Axis Bank Cards can get 5 percent cashback. Additionally, the device will be available with exchange offers and the Flipkart Pay Later scheme.
The smartphone will be available in Country Green and Royal Blue color options.
Poco C50 is the rebranded Redmi A1+ launched sometime back in India. The smartphone comes with a leather-like finish that looks good and may help with the grip.
It features a 6.52-inch water-drop notch panel with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It is an IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen has 400 nits of typical brightness.
The smartphone boasts a dual camera system on the back with an 8MP main lens and an auxiliary lens. It has a 5MP front camera for taking selfie images and doing video calls. Both the rear and front cameras are capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30fps.
Powering the handset is the MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, which is a 12nm quad-core chipset. It has up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. There’s a microSD card slot for storage expandability of up to 512GB.
As for the battery, it has a 5,000mAh cell with a 10W charging speed. The device runs on Android 12 Go Edition. The smartphone has a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. 4G, Wi-FI, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS are some of the phone’s connectivity options.
