Oppo has finally put a date on its much-awaited flagship lineup – the Find X9 series. The company has confirmed that the new smartphones will be unveiled in China on October 16, with pre-reservations already open in the country. What’s more interesting is that Oppo has also teased a global launch, meaning the Find X9 series will reach international markets sooner rather than later. The lineup is expected to include the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, both promising big upgrades in performance and cameras. Battery capacity looks to be another highlight. The Find X9 Pro will pack a huge 7,500mAh battery, while the standard Find X9 is tipped to feature a 7,000mAh unit. Both devices will boot ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, bringing Oppo’s latest software experience right out of the box.
On the camera front, Oppo is once again leaning on its partnership with Hasselblad. The Find X9 Pro is said to feature a Hasselblad-tuned camera setup headlined by a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 70mm focal length, which could make it one of the most powerful smartphone cameras around. Oppo is also expected to launch a Hasselblad Professional Photography Kit alongside the phones, aimed at users who take mobile photography seriously.
While Oppo has revealed a fair bit about the series, there are still details under wraps –and as always, the global variants may differ slightly from their Chinese counterparts. With the official launch just around the corner, it won’t be long before we know everything the Find X9 series has to offer.
